Book Review of “Are You Still In Love With Who?” by Nicole Brown

Rating:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐-(5/5)

This poetry journal is an exotic and passionate account of two individuals who fall in love without intention. Nevertheless, this tale blossoms into a beautiful yet bittersweet love story. The poetry that follows describes a love that went against all odds. Two individuals loving without condition, talking without intention, giving without reason, and caring without expectation.

This book will make you crave a love of your own. The author relates the journey of two individuals who never lost feelings for each other despite the distance. To Nicole Brown, distance isn't a limit to true love.

Consequently, the poems used for narration could be independent of each other. Nonetheless, the author found a way to distinctively connect each of these poems such that there were no awkward pauses. The flow was refreshing, and the narration of how to treat your woman, and being a utopia man, was heartwarming. In my opinion, the author’s viewpoints point to making your partner your spec and treating them right, rather than comparing them to others. Because, in all honesty, the act of comparison is one of relationship silent killers.

Undoubtedly, the author outdid herself. What a simple yet well-put-together poetry hemmed with precise language, clean rhythm, depth, and intense passion. The book was devoid of errors, meaning the book was professionally well-edited. This book merits the widest possible readership by young adults. Inevitably, a 5-star piece.
