Book Review of Black Hat/White Hat: A tale of Good is Evil by Glenn Della-Monica

Rating:⭐⭐⭐️⭐-(4/5)

Black Hat/White Hat by Glenn Della-Monica is a thriller novella packed with action. This enthralling tale follows the lives of Alex and Lara Cutter. These two are on a mission mainly to seek revenge on online scammers. The book keeps unraveling and houses endless twists and turns. The story embodies themes of chaos, carnage, cyber and robocall bunco, conspiracy, clandestine organizations, arduous judgments, and romantic affairs.

Despite the book encompassing romance, the scenes are not explicit or polluted with unbearable profane language. Instead, the romance is superficial. Similarly, characterization was not the author’s strength. There was almost no proper character development in the story. The supposed dark comedy was enjoyable but limited, and I expected more.

On the other hand, the writing style was relatively commendable. The editing of the book was quite flawless. I did not encounter any errors or page breaks that should have hindered my reading flow. I recommend this book to people interested in thriller novels and dark comedies. Likewise, I am rating this book 4 out of 5 stars.
