Book Review Of The New Wine by Matthew Douglas Pinard

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐️⭐️⭐-(5/5)

The New Wine by Matthew Douglas Pinard is an aggravating book far from contemporary memoirs and triggering a myriad of questions unprovoked. These questions are endless, and it's barely an introduction to the series. The author’s purpose for embarking on this series is evident. He wants his ordeals as a Christian, grounded in the Roman Catholic faith, to be shared.

After successfully giving us a see-through into his life, Matthew marvelously creates a direct linkage to Jim Morrison, a fine poet, and the possibility of him being Jim’s reincarnate. He uses the explanations of his names, Douglas and Pinard, to show a relation. He backs his claims with pictures that show striking similarities between them. As we progress, the author states that the only way to overcome life's hurdles and navigate this world from a spiritual perspective is to embrace the dark side without allowing yourself to go over the edge.

This book is short yet has a considerable objective to help readers actualize their souls with God. I was pleased with the poems written by Jim Morrison, from American Prayer to Changeling. They were polished and easy to decipher. Matthew wowed me when he brought this book to a perfect conclusion using the Lord’s prayer. This book is a 5-star rated book, deserving all the accolades it can get.
