A simple and tasty flatbread recipe

My lovely indian culture freaks or epicure, how about something to satisfy your fluttering tastebuds and in turn spice up your day?
Today, I'm meting out my homemade flat bread recipe to you all. So read up, try it out and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar 
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/3 cup butter

DIRECTIONS
1. Add flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and butter and mix together with your fingers till a crumb-like texture forms. 
2. Add in water,  bit by bit and mix together until a smooth dough forms
3. Knead the dough for nine minutes and transfer to an oiled bowl and cover with a towel for thirty minutes.
4. Divide the dough into six balls or more and leave to rest for another ten minutes before you go ahead to cook them
5. Roll the dough one at a time on a surface dusted with flour untill its flattened. 
6. Place the dough in the frying pan on medium heat and cook for a minute. Cook while flipping to opposite sides till slightly brown.
7. Turn it off the heat
8. Store in an air tight container.
