Corned beef and cabbage


Ingredients


  • 40 ounces corned beef with spice packet
  • 8 small red potatoes
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 large cabbage

Directions

  • Peel and cut the carrots into medium sizes and cut the cabbage into small pieces
  • Steam the beef with its spice packet until tender
  • Add to the steamed meat, the potatoes and carrots and cook till almost tender. Add cabbage and cook for more 10 minutes. 
  • Turn off the heat and leave to rest
  • In a medium bowl, add the vegetables and cover. Add as much broth as you want.
  • Slice the meat and serve
